Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Decks
Enjoy a full view of Tokyo from 202 meters above the ground.
The Observation Decks are places for visitors to deepen their understanding and interest in Tokyo and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government while enjoying an amazing view.
To access the Observation Decks take the Observatory Elevator from the 1st Floor of Main Building No. 1.
Observatory Hours (Entry ends 30 minutes before closing.)
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
*The South Observation Deck closes at 5:30 p.m. (However, it closes at 11:00 p.m. on days that the North Observatory is closed.)
Free of charge
South Observation Deck: First and third Tuesday of every month
North Observation Deck: Second and fourth Monday of every month
*When one of the days listed above falls on a holiday, the observation decks will be open on the holiday but closed the following day.
*The observation decks will be closed during the New Year's holiday season(29-31 December and 2-3 January) and on May 16, 2015 for inspection. Note: the observation decks are open on January 1.

Café and Bar (North Observatory)
*Operates as a café during the afternoon and a bar at night (last order is at 10:00 p.m.)
Shop (South and North Observatories)
- The observation decks open at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015 because the "TOKYO MARATHON 2015" is held on that day.
