東京オリンピック・パラリンピック調整会議
The 2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting
平成26（2014）年9月1日（月曜）、「東京オリンピック・パラリンピック調整会議」に出席しました。
会議では、会場計画等について話し合われ、知事は、東京都が新設する10施設のうち3施設（オリンピック・アクアティクスセンター、海の森水上競技場、有明アリーナ）については基本設計に着手し、その他の施設については引き続き検討を継続することと、選手村の整備については今後再開発事業に向けた手続きを進めていくことなどを説明しました。
調整会議には、知事の他、森一般財団法人東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会会長、下村文部科学大臣兼オリンピック・パラリンピック担当大臣、竹田公益財団法人日本オリンピック委員会会長、及び鳥原公益財団法人日本障がい者スポーツ協会日本パラリンピック委員会委員長が出席しました。
On Monday, September 1, Governor Masuzoe attended the 2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting.
At the meeting the participants discussed venue plans and other matters. The governor explained that work on the basic plans for the Olympic Aquatics Center, Sea Forest Waterway, and Ariake Arena will begin; for the remaining seven of the 10 facilities which the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is scheduled to construct, the TMG will continue to review the current plans; and as for the construction of the Olympic Village, the TMG will move forward with procedures related to the redevelopment project.
The meeting was also attended by Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games President Yoshiro Mori, Minister in charge of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hakubun Shimomura, Japanese Olympic Committee President Tsunekazu Takeda, and Japanese Paralympic Committee President Mitsunori Torihara.
