第1回IOC調整委員会会議
First meeting with the IOC Coordination Commission
平成26（2014）年6月25日（水曜）、「第1回IOC調整委員会会議」に出席しました。
知事は、冒頭、「2020年の大会開催まで、あと6年しかございませんが、確実に大会を開催するということをお約束いたしますとともに、後に振り返った時に、この東京大会はすばらしい大会であったと言われるように、我々は全力を尽くしてまいります」と挨拶しました。
「IOC調整委員会会議」は、本日（25日）から27日（金曜）まで、来日したジョン・コーツ委員長をはじめとするIOC調整委員会メンバーとともに、2020年オリンピック・パラリンピックの準備状況の確認や会場予定地の視察等を行う予定です。
On Wednesday, June 25, Governor Masuzoe attended the first meeting with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission for the Tokyo 2020 Games.
At the opening of the meeting the governor said, “Although there are only six years to go before the 2020 Games, we promise a reliable delivery of the event. Also, we will put our utmost efforts into preparations so that people will look back on the Tokyo Games as a wonderful event.”
The IOC Coordination Commission Meeting runs from June 25 to 27. As part of the visit, IOC Coordination Commission Chair John Coates and other commission members will also check the state of preparations for the 2020 Games and tour planned venue sites.
