Memorandum of Understanding on Education concluded with the Académie de Paris

On May 28, 2019, the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Education with the Académie de Paris.

Objective:

To further promote international exchange and other initiatives with the goal of cultivating global human resources.

MoU concluded with:

Académie de Paris
A local agency of the French Ministry of National Education in charge of primary education through higher education in the greater Paris school district

Main content:

To cooperate in areas with a focus on promotion of language education, culture, and Olympic and Paralympic education through the following modalities.

1. School relationships
2. Student and teacher mobility
3. Information exchange

Reference

This is the ninth MoU concluded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education with a foreign local government following the MoU signed with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education last December.
