Tokyo Fire Department Official App Launched
The TFD has developed an app with diverse functions and contents, mainly targeting the younger generations who are the high users of smartphones and other mobile devices. We hope that this free app will be widely used as an information tool for fire safety and disaster preparedness.

TFD notifications and event information are posted for viewing.
- Emergency Calls
Calls can be made at “119” and “#7119” to the Command and Control Center and the Emergency Telephone Consultation Center respectively via the app.
The Tokyo EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Guide can also be viewed.
- Video Library
Recommended videos on the fire service and others can be viewed.
Useful first aid contents, such as the video on how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and the CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) tempo sound to aid timing, are available.
- Safety Confirmation and Search Function
Texts on your current location can be automatically created and sent via social media and others.
- Map Function
By displaying your current location through GPS (global positioning system) and selecting and narrowing down the information needed, the facilities and locations of fire service events, fire stations, and disaster prevention drills, can be displayed.
