The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has been taking measures, including designation of “architectural structures of historic value” based on the Tokyo Metropolitan Landscape Ordinance, to promote the creation of good landscapes in the city.

The TMG will be organizing a photo exhibition around the theme of Tokyo’s cityscape, including these historic buildings. The exhibition will be held in two parts in collaboration with the Association of Historic Landmarks and Urban Planning.

The second part of the exhibition is planned to be held at the same venue from the end of August through the beginning of September.

From Friday, July 5 through Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, the exhibition will open at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, and close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
The event will be closed on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7.
