Play the “Tocho Omoide Piano” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has placed the Tocho Omoide Piano (TMG piano of memories) in the renovated South Observation Deck, which reopened on Monday, April 8, for use by the public.

Availability

The piano can be played on the days the observation deck is open. Please check the operation calendar of the TMG Observation Deck (PDF:544KB).

Hours

From 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
*Maximum time: 5 minutes per person
*Reservations are not accepted

Notes
Please observe the following points and use the grand piano with care.

  • Please take turns playing so that all who wish can enjoy playing the instrument.
  • For safety reasons, please keep the grand piano lid closed when playing.
  • No commercial activities will be allowed.
  • Please refrain from playing other instruments or singing along with the piano.
