Tokyo One-Stop Business Establishment Center to Launch Services for Certification of Articles of Incorporation by a Notary Outside the Notary Office

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is advancing various endeavors using the National Strategic Special Zone system to build an environment that will make Tokyo the easiest city in the world to do business in order to attract funds, talent, and companies from around the world.
The Office of the Governor for Policy Planning announces that the Tokyo One-Stop Business Establishment Center, which opened on April 1, 2015, will newly launch services on October 1 for certification of the articles of incorporation by a notary outside the notary office. This service will be offered under the special provision prescribed in Article 12.2 of the National Strategic Special Zone Act, and will enable quick certification of the articles of incorporation.
