駐日ドイツ連邦共和国大使が知事を訪問
Germany’s ambassador visits the governor
平成26（2014）年10月17日（金曜）、都庁を訪れたハンス＝カール・フォン＝ヴェアテルン 駐日ドイツ連邦共和国大使と面会しました。
知事は、「ベルリン市との姉妹友好都市提携20周年ということで、市長さんにご招待いただきましたので、10月末に行ってまいります。この春には、森鴎外のシンポジウムをやりましたが、いろいろな分野で都市間の交流を進め、ベルリンとの友好関係、協力関係を更に進めたいと思っております。2020年東京でオリンピック・パラリンピックが開かれますので、是非、ドイツの方にたくさん来ていただきたいと思います」と話しました。
On Friday, October 17, H.E. Dr. Hans Carl von Werthern, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
At the meeting, the governor said, “Since it is the 20th anniversary of the friendship city agreement between Tokyo and Berlin, I have been invited to visit Berlin by the mayor and will make the trip at the end of October. This spring, we held an event featuring Mori Ogai (a Japanese novelist who studied in Germany). By promoting exchanges in a wide range of areas, we hope to further deepen our friendly and cooperative relationship with Berlin. Tokyo will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020, and we look forward to welcoming many visitors from Germany.”
