台南市長が知事を訪問
Mayor of Tainan visits the governor
平成26（2014）年9月12日（金曜）、都庁を訪れた賴清德（らい・せいとく）台南市長と面会しました。
知事は、「2020年東京オリンピック・パラリンピックが開かれます。是非台湾の皆様方にもお越しいただいて成功させたいと思っております。東京も台南も都市が抱える大きな問題を共有しておりますので、是非都市間での取組もやりたいと思います」と話しました。
On Friday, September 12, the Honorable Ching-Te Lai, Mayor of Tainan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
Speaking at the meeting, the governor commented, “The 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo. I want to make the Games success. And, I certainly hope to welcome many people from Taiwan. As Tokyo and Tainan share many challenges common to major cities, I hope that we can engage in efforts on the city level.”
