駐日トルコ共和国大使が知事を訪問
Turkey’s ambassador visits the governor
平成26（2014）年8月21日（木曜）、都庁を訪れたA.ビュレント・メリチ 駐日トルコ共和国大使と面会しました。
知事は、「今年、トルコと日本の国交樹立90周年を迎えるということで、大変うれしく思います。トルコも日本も地震大国で、災害に見舞われやすい国柄ですが、こういう共通な課題にも共に立ち向かって行きたいと思います。また、是非2020年には、トルコからたくさんの皆様にお越しいただきたい」と話しました。
On Thursday, August 21, H.E. Mr. A. Bulent Meric, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
At the meeting, the governor said, “I am very pleased that this year will mark the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan. With both countries prone to earthquakes and natural disaster, I hope that we will also work together to face this kind of common challenge. In addition, I hope to welcome many visitors from Turkey to the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo.”
