香港・日本経済委員会一行が知事を訪問
Representatives from the Hong Kong-Japan Business Co-operation Committee visits the governor
平成26（2014）年3月27日（木曜）、舛添知事は、都庁を訪れた蔡冠深（ジョナサン・チョイ）香港・日本経済委員会委員長をはじめとする一行と面会しました。
知事は、「2020年東京でオリンピック・パラリンピックが開かれます。ぜひ、香港からたくさんの方にいらしていただいて、スポーツだけではなく、文化の面においても、世界に日本、東京の魅力を発信したいと思います。いま、大胆な東京改造のプランを練っていて、とりわけ規制緩和をして、東京をグローバルなビジネスセンターにしたいと思っています。香港と平和的な協働と競争をやって、お互いWin-Winになるようにしましょう」と話しました。
香港・日本経済委員会は、香港・日本間における貿易、投資、その他の経済協力の促進を目的に1979年に設立され、商社、物流、金融、貿易、製造業、ゼネコン・インフラ、技術エンジニアリングなどの企業によって構成されています。
On Thursday, March 27, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Japan Business Co-operation Committee, and other members of the committee paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
During the meeting, the governor said, “Tokyo will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020. I hope that many people from Hong Kong will visit our city and that we can convey to visitors from around the world the attractions of Japan and Tokyo, both in terms of sports and culture. Currently, we are drawing up an ambitious plan for reforming Tokyo, centering on deregulation, in order to raise the city’s prominence as a global business center. I think Hong Kong and Tokyo can cooperate, and compete, with each other in a friendly manner to build a win-win relationship.”
The Hong Kong-Japan Business Co-operation Committee was established in 1979 with an aim of promoting trade, investment, and other forms of economic cooperation between Hong Kong and Japan. The members of the committee include businesses from various industries ranging from trading to logistics, financial services, manufacturing, construction, and engineering.
