台北駐日経済文化代表処代表が知事を訪問
Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan visits the governor
平成26（2014）年3月3日（月曜）、舛添知事は、都庁を訪れた沈斯淳台北駐日経済文化代表処代表と面会しました。
知事は、「東日本大震災のとき、義援金を集められ、お寄せいただいたこと、改めて感謝申し上げます。今年は、東京と九州の国立博物館で故宮博物院展が開催され、素晴らしい品をお見せいただけること、非常に楽しみにしています。2020年夏の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックには、台湾からもたくさんの選手の皆さん方、応援の皆さん方にも来ていただけるよう努力しますので、こぞっていらして下さい」と話しました。
On Monday, March 3, Governor Masuzoe met with Mr. Ssu-Tsun Shen, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, at his office inside the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building.
During the meeting, the governor said, “Please allow me to once again express our sincere gratitude for the generosity of the Taiwanese people, and the donations that were collected for Japan following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. This year, a historic exhibition of works of art from Taiwan’s National Palace Museum will be held at the Tokyo National Museum and Kyushu National Museum. I am truly looking forward to seeing these marvelous pieces on loan from Taiwan. As we prepare for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we will work hard to have the privilege of welcoming many athletes and spectators from Taiwan. We certainly hope that many people from Taiwan will come.”
