ニュー・サウス・ウェールズ州（オーストラリア）首相が知事を訪問
Premier of New South Wales visits the governor
平成26（2014）年2月18日（火曜）、舛添知事は、都庁を訪れたバリー・オファレル ニュー・サウス・ウェールズ州（オーストラリア連邦）首相と面会しました。
知事は、「今日は東京にいらしていただいてありがとうございます。最初の外国の賓客としてオファレル首相をお迎えできること、大変光栄です。ニュー・サウス･ウェールズ州と東京は、姉妹友好都市の提携をして今年で30周年になる長い間の友好関係を、今後さらに発展させたいと思っています」と歓迎の意を伝えました。
On Tuesday, February 18, Premier Barry O’Farrell of New South Wales, Australia, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
The governor welcomed the premier saying, “Thank you very much for coming to Tokyo. It is a great honor for me to welcome you as my first foreign guest since taking office. This year marks the 30th anniversary of friendship city relationships between New South Wales and Tokyo. I hope we can further build upon these long years of friendship.”
