Organizational Reform: Summer 2005June 22, 2005 1. Establishment of the Office for Youth Affairs and Public SafetyThe Office for Youth Affairs and Public Safety will be established in order to comprehensively and systematically promote policies and programs related to youth development and public safety. The organization will have the same status as a bureau. Scheduled revision 2. Abolishment of the Office of University ManagementThe Office of University Management will be abolished due to the launch of the newly organized Tokyo Metropolitan University as a public university corporation. Any business matters involving the incorporation of the university, including the conclusion of decisions on medium-term objectives, will no longer be dealt with by the office. Such matters will instead come under the responsibility of the Bureau of General Affairs. Scheduled revision 3. Abolishment of the Office for the Establishment of ShinGinko TokyoFollowing the commencement of full-scale operations by ShinGinko Tokyo, the Office for the Establishment of ShinGinko Tokyo will be abolished. Any matters pertaining to ShinGinko Tokyo will become the responsibility of the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs. Scheduled revision |
