Ambassador of Greece visits the Governor

On Wednesday, March 2, Ambassador Loukas Karatsolis of Greece met with Governor Masuzoe.

At the meeting, the governor spoke about the Global Friendship Project, a program that will be implemented ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Games to educate children at public schools in Tokyo about participating countries, and his hopes to teach Tokyo children global awareness. The governor also requested the Embassy’s assistance in introducing children to Greece. The ambassador proposed ideas such as holding a variety of events associated with Greece, the birthplace of the marathon and Olympic Games.
