Ambassador of Belgium visits the Governor
On Friday, February 26, Governor Masuzoe met with Ambassador Gunther Sleeuwagen of Belgium.
At the meeting, the governor said, “As we celebrate 150 years of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan, I hope to strengthen ties between Tokyo and Brussels.” The ambassador then spoke about the rising interest in Japan and Tokyo in Belgium, including Japan being selected as the theme for various events held there.
