Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malasia Visits the Governor
On Friday, February 5, Governor Masuzoe met Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia. The governor said he hoped the visit was a chance for Japan and Malaysia, and for Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, to renew and strengthen ties. The governor and minister discussed a wide range of topics, including promoting exchanges through the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and using the new “& Tokyo” brand logo and slogan. They also discussed sharing technology to meet common challenges, improving disaster preparedness and crisis management, and environmental and traffic-related issues.
