Mayor of Tainan visits the governor
On Friday, September 12, the Honorable Ching-Te Lai, Mayor of Tainan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
Speaking at the meeting, the governor commented, "The 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo. I want to make the Games success. And, I certainly hope to welcome many people from Taiwan. As Tokyo and Tainan share many challenges common to major cities, I hope that we can engage in efforts on the city level."
