Australian ambassador visits the governor

On Tuesday, May 20, H.E. Mr. Bruce Miller, Ambassador of Australia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

During the meeting, the governor said, "In order to deliver a successful Olympic and Paralympic Games, I wish to learn from Sydney's experience." He also told the ambassador that "As you are well versed in Japan, I hope we can continue to foster the friendship between Tokyo and New South Wales, and Japan and Australia."

This year marks the 30th anniversary of friendship city relationships between Tokyo and New South Wales.
